GAMMA RAY

En 1988, después de pasar cuatro años en Helloween,
guitarrista y compositor Kai Hansen decidió dejar la banda debido a,
como se anunció oficialmente, las actividades de turismo enormes de la banda.
Con el tiempo, Hansen decidió formar su propio proyecto, con Scheepers
viejo amigo Ralf (voz), Uwe Wessel (bajo) y Mathias Burchard (batería).
En el inicio del proyecto Kai no tenía la intención de formar una nueva banda,
de un ambiente relajado entre los músicos pronto se hizo evidente: Gamma Ray nació.
En enero de 1990 esa formación lanzó el álbum Heading for Tomorrow,
que ha alcanzado gran éxito sobre todo en Alemania y en Japón.
Kai junto con su nuevo Gamma Ray banda pegada a la clase de música que hizo
famoso Helloween ese momento:
power metal melódico y grandilocuente con letras positivas y crítica,
trabajo de guitarra y voz fantástica maravillosos.
Pasó algún tiempo hasta que Gamma Ray entró en escenarios del mundo, por primera vez.
Apenas hay un festival de metal de renombre, donde Gamma Ray no han sacudido a la multitud,
apenas una revista internacional que no ha contado con al menos un título de Gamma Ray historia
a través de los años. Gamma Ray marca 2012 son una institución establecida de metal que nunca
han descansado en los laureles, siempre en busca de nuevos retos.
